Use-case guide

Read each application as a service concept

Each card explains the public problem, possible drone-enabled workflow and oversight expectations. It does not grant flight permission, claim an approved deployment or replace departmental operating procedures.

Drone category guide

Platform types referenced in the mission framework

The reference deck describes common drone categories. Final technology selection must be approved for each use case, terrain, payload, safety condition and public-service objective.

Drone type

Multi-rotor drones

Short-range observation, inspection, photography, crop review and confined-area public-service tasks.

Useful for stable hovering, but endurance and payload are limited.

Drone type

Fixed-wing drones

Large-area mapping, surveying and monitoring where long endurance is required.

Launch, landing and operating area requirements need careful approval.

Drone type

Hybrid VTOL drones

Mixed terrain missions that need vertical take-off and longer flight endurance.

Higher complexity requires stronger operator training and maintenance checks.

Drone type

Single-rotor drones

Specialised operations needing stronger payload capacity or longer hover endurance.

Operational risk, maintenance and safety clearance must be reviewed case by case.

Drone type

Nano and micro drones

Close-range inspection, research and confined or low-altitude observation tasks.

Small size does not remove privacy, airspace or safety obligations.

AgricultureProposed
